DETAILS AND PHOTO'S OF 'BORROWED' ITEMS
The van has been recovered with nearly all of my equipment still inside!!! The only things still missing are my guitars (see below) and my tuner.... money... incidentals (little stuff not worthy of worry).  The outpouring of good wishes, the offer to loan/give me equipment to replace the what I had lost, the money that folks have given me (about $900 to date) has touched my soul & made me feel the love over the sting of the incredible loss! I am truly a very blessed and lucky man to have family & friends like you!!
There are a few folks I would like to publicly thank:   First is my lovely lady Mick - She was the first person I told.... over the phone & long distance!! Imagine her feeling of helplessness! Her strength & understanding through this debacle kept me from going off the deep end! Next - and just as importantly - Michael Durbin & Virginia Ellis - my friends that I was staying with in Houston when all of this went down - without their support and kindness, I would have been an emotional wreck!! Not only that, Michael lent me a guitar and amp that has pretty much gotten me through all of my gigs AND THEN, he picked up my van from the tow yard and delivered it to me when it was recovered!! What a friend!!!
Then my Mom & Dad & sister Jackie traveled here to the Hill Country (because I hadn't gotten my van back yet) to make it a very special Christmas for me!
Jay Adams was the first to call me and offer support and equipment. Garrett Loggins, Terri Hendrix, Walter Lee, Alton Rex, Cy & Karen Torgeson, Bob Villa..... just to name a few!! - All offered money or equipment!!
I don't want to focus on this too much.... let it suffice to say that my life is much richer because of all of these folks AND your presence in my reality!!
Thank you for being there for me!!!!!!!!

Black Guild Guitar d-25 with paint worn off of neck. Bartolini magnetic pickup installed. Mid 70's vintage. There were two capos on the head stock. It has gold plated Ping tuners and brass bridge pins. This guitar has unmistakable worn spots on the neck and around the sound hole and is fitted with a piezo and a magnetic pickup with a stereo plug. The binding is coming loose on the top/back "valley" and there are "buckle rashes" on the back. Hard shell case.

This is a VERY UNIQUE, one of a kind (literally) guitar. It is a mid-60's Gibson J-45 that has been converted to a resonator type guitar with a National type resonator. The back and sides are rosewood, and the face is fir painted white. It has custom turquoise tuners. The guitar has a "sad face" if you look at it with the neck up. "J - 45" is etched on the plastic truss rod cover
